Hit the link for the Daily Catch at Sunset Marina!
We had another nice day in and around Ocean City and it’s not super busy on land or water yet, but you can tell it’s on the way. There is some great inshore fishing to be had right now and there were some tunas caught offshore today too so hopefully that’s a sign of things to come.
The Boss Hogg out of Sunset Marina had a great day of offshore fishing considering how bad it’s sucked recently. The “Hogg” put their crew on a nice bigeye tuna, some yellowfin tuna and some mahi on today’s trip.
Captain Tony Battista of Saltwater Adventures sent this photo in this afternoon of a rare cobia catch from the south jetty. I also heard of another cobia that was caught and released at the jetty today. Minimum size on cobia is 40″.
Captain Chase Eberle of Chasin’ Tides Charters had a good day of inshore ocean fishing today putting his clients on some bonita, some bluefish and a pile of sea bass.
Captain Dave Caffrey of On the Run Charters is back in the Fish in OC charter partner program and today he had a good day of flounder fishing with two keepers and countless throwbacks.
Anglers fishing on board Lucky Break Charters with Captain Jason Mumford had a bunch of throwback flounder today as well and this very nice 21″ keeper fish.
