Somehow Beat the Weather

Somehow Beat the Weather

What a difference a day makes!!  Yesterday was a little windy, but it was really warm and overall very nice.  Today?  Well I played 6 holes at Ocean Pines Golf and Country Club this afternoon before Mother Nature recommended I get a rain check.  I was pretty certain that I wouldn’t be getting any fishing reports with the way the weather turned out, but Captain Brian Behe was on the Pocomoke today and was out early enough to beat the unfishable conditions that came in this afternoon.

Captain Brian reported good, steady crappie fishing this morning with Jim Burns and his father-in-law.  The crew fished live minnows and caught “a 100″ crappie with one fish hitting 14”!  They also managed to land a BIG gar that stretched out to almost 4 feet.  All in all it was a great day on the river!
