Except for a little fog, we had a very nice Memorial Weekend in and around Ocean City…..today? Not so much. We had a pretty steady rain earlier in the day with some strong winds, and we’re currently still sitting in a tornado watch until 11 PM. The good news is that the weather looks to clear out tonight leaving us with what looks like a very nice week of weather. Hopefully the fishing gets a little better too.
Captain Kane Bounds and his crew on Fish Bound has seen some decent sea bass fishing over the past week. Sea bassing is still tough at times, but his full day trips have resulted in very good catches. Fish Bound’s evening trips have also produced some quality fish.
Captain Jason Mumford of Lucky Break Charters got out before the rain and put these two youngsters on a couple of “snapper” bluefish.
Dennis Miller caught three keeper flounder while fishing on the Calico Jack this weekend.
