I got two pieces of good news today….Punxsutawney Phil did not see his shadow and predicts an early Spring…and I got a fishing report!
That’s right good ole’ Phil emerged from his burrow and professed his prediction of an early spring in front of thousands gathered at Gobbler’s Knob in Pennsylvania this morning. That is certainly good news to me and many others that are chomping at the bit to get out and do some fishing!
The fishing report came from my buddy Nick Denny who was along for a tog fishing trip today with some mutual friends of ours. Nick and crew ventured to an ocean wreck and returned with 27 nice keeper tautog and released some other fish, including one that was estimated at just under 10 pounds.
