I reported last night that my buddy Austin Ensor was planning on heading to the deep today to try his luck with what might be swimming around in a nice piece of water out in the canyons. Well I am happy to report that Austin and his crew found the water in the Baltimore Canyon and there were fish in it.
Today, myself, Tom Over and Tyler Green fished the Baltimore and found 73 degree water. We went 5 for 7 on yellowfin tuna and had some mahi. We only trolled for three hours. In the afternoon I dropped my first daytime sword rig down twice with no luck. this well be my last offshore report of 2015. We had an epic season and we are ending it this evening……and there was ice on the boat this morning!
Huge thanks to Austin and his crew for getting me some great fishing reports and photos this year!
Below a shot of the water compliments of Captain Jeremy Blunt on the Wrecker who’s is putting a crew together to try the tuna on Sunday. If you’d like to get on board hit the link to get in touch with Captain Jeremy. fishinoc/wrecker
On the party boat front Captain Chris Mizurak on the Angler reported some great fishing today. Most everyone caught their limit of sea bass and some had a few flounder. The biggest flounder of the day was caught by Dutch and weighed 4 pounds.
Captain John Prather on the Ocean City Guide Service had a pre Thanksgiving sea duck hunt and had much success. If you’d like to charter Ocean City Guide Service for a sea duck hunt hit the link and get in touch with Captain John. fishinoc/oceancityguideservice
