It felt more like early September than it did late October today with more sunny skies, warm temps and little to no wind. It was a great day to get out on the ocean where there may be some bluefin tuna closer to the inlet than the sea bass.
I’ve heard a couple of rumors over the last day or two about some bluefins being sighted and possibly caught out of Ocean City Inlet and those rumors were confirmed this evening with my first submitted report. Captain Dale Lisi of the, new to the Fish in OC charter partner fleet, Foolish Pleasures hit the flat calm ocean today and his crew managed this beautiful 125 pound bluefin tuna for the fish cleaners at Bahia Marina. Fish was caught at the African Queen wreck site.

Captain Monty Hawkins of the Morning Star found a flat calm ocean this morning, but tough fishing. It picked up nicely and folks caught some big sea bass.
