The Flounder Are Snapping in the Back Bay

It was a really beautiful day out there today in and around Ocean City and it was a great day to be out there doing some fishing.  Skies were clear, winds were light and it was another day where the flounder were biting really, really well.

Captain Jason Mumford of Lucky Break Charters had another great day of flounder fishing the Thorofare and behind Assateague Island and put his crew on 10 nice keepers for the cooler.  Daniel Eustice and Callie Mack from Schnecksville, PA joined James Mack and Kamryn Fenon from Palmerton, PA for a great day on the water.

John Clayton had a great day in the south bay using Deadly Doubles to put four keeper flounder in the boat from 16.5″ to 17.5″.

Jeff Beard used chartreuse Deadly Doubles and white Deadly Doubles to land these two keeper flounder of 18″ and 20″ in the Thorofare.

Jay Boyd caught this nice black drum in the Assateague surf thanks to some help from his son William.

Captain Chase Eberle of Chasin’ Tides Charters had his folks eating awesome breakfast sandwiches and catching double digit tautog on today’s trip.
