Another really calm day and another boat takes a trip to deep drop the canyons. Today it was the Boss Hogg out of Sunset Marina with Captain Chris Ireland. Captain Chris took his crew to the Poor Man’s Canyon where they caught 40 tilefish, 40 sea bass and three mahi. The mahi were a pleasant surprise as there aren’t usually a lot of them out there this late in the season.
Regular contributor Nick Denny took another trip to the north jetty in Ocean City for some tautog fishing today. Nick used green crabs to catch eight throwback tautog and one for the ice chest.
