The Nor’Easter that had fishing shut down all week is finally moving out of the area over the next 12-24 hours, but it left a wake of destruction in and around Ocean City. The above video shows the flooding on Saturday as the storm was off the coast of MD and DE. Hopefully that’s it for big storms this year because Ocean City and other coastal towns in took a beating.
I didn’t think I’d see any fishing reports until at least Tuesday, but I was glad to get a text from Captain Jason Mumford of Lucky Break Charters with the following pictures. Captain Jason reported water temps have plummeted after the storm to the mid 60s and tautog fishing improved immediately. He was able to put his crew on these three keepers on a wet trip to the OC Inlet today.
