Day two at the Saltwater Fishing Expo in Edison, NJ was a good one where I got to speak to a lot of folks that are coming to Fish in OC. I got some reports from guys up here that there were some more stripers caught along the coast so there may be some fish in the back bays of Ocean City very soon. It was a little more chilly today and the wind was honking where I was, but a couple of our boats sent reports which is always good in my book.
Captain Monty Hawkins of the Morning Star had to brave some sporty conditions today, but he did get a long trip in today and put some fish in the boat.
Hi Scott,
Wind was honkin! National weather service had it at 15 to 20 mid day – Try 30 & gusts.. But we pulled a 12 hr trip out of it. Most caught dinner is about all I can say. Did tag a couple nice keepers and 17 shorts too.
Andrej Wysocki of
Lindenhurst, NY took the pool with his 22 3/4″ 7lber
Bruce Mears of
Ocean View, DE had 7 releases and dinner….
Cheers

Captain Brian Behe of Buffalo Hunter Guide Service is in the middle of a nice run of trips on the Pocomoke River and he has been seeing some great fishing. Today Captain Brian used live minnows to put his clients on several nice crappie including some “hammers.” It’s so good I can’t pass it up and will be joining Captain Brian on Monday to film one last river trip of Hooked on OC.
