We have certainly had some challenging weather conditions over the past several days with cold temperatures and wind. Nighttime lows have dipped to the low 30s and the wind just doesn’t want to stop blowing. The weather is warming up this week with a couple of days looking to get into the 8os so fishing should continue to improve.
Captain Chase Eberle of Chasin’ Tides Charters had a nice day in the ocean yesterday with a boat limit of tautog with the largest fish tipping out at 11 pounds.
Ben Bosley and his son James fished the Thorofare today with Deadly Tackle Deadly Doubles and Live Bait Rigs with Gulp and live minnows and managed to box three keeper flounder up to 18.5″.
Jayda Rinker was fishing with Rich Daiker and Reece Schindler when she caught this 16.5″ keeper flounder on a chartreuse Deadly Double in the Thorofare. It was Jayda’s first fish ever!
Camden Meredith was fishing the north sea wall when he landed this nice keeper tautog of just under 18″ along with three other throwbacks and a stupid skate.
