Captain Nick Sampson and the crew from Mobsquad Fishing had a 1/2 day inshore trip that produced tuna and mahi for this group.
Captain Taylor Hershey and Alex used sidetrackers from 353 Custom Tackle to fool this yellowfin tuna to the gaff in the Poorman’s Canyon.
Kevin Graybill, Jake Graybill and Tyler Martin had two yellowfin tuna deep in the Poorman’s Canyon.
Captain Tony Battista of Saltwater Adventures fished ocean structure and found a bunch of keeper flounder and triggerfish.
Rich Daiker had another limit of flounder from around the Route 50 bridge using live bunker for bait.

As fine a July morning as you might ever hope to see; we made a special block deployment today, then had – if only for a short while – the best flounder bite I’ve seen in a long time — over a decade I’m sure.
Wasn’t all that in keepers(!) but the morning bite was off the chain. We got into sea bass as well. Not red hot – but dinners around I hope.
Tristan took today’s pool money with a fine fluke, and, were a prize for ‘most unusual’ awarded, Ron would surely have won with his blueline tile. (The second one this year inside twenty fathoms. They’re normally found in 45 to 80 fathoms.)
Only one of three deckhands took pictures today. That won’t happen again.
