We’ve got a couple of hot days coming up before things get back in line before the weekend. After a little front pushes through on Friday our weather looks to be pretty nice for next week.
There has been some really good tuna fishing in the canyons for boats pulling spreader bars and ballyhoo over the past several days. Captain Chris Watkowski and the crew of Spring Mix II made quick work of it with 15 yellowfins going in the box before noon.

Anglers fishing on board Boss Hogg with Captain Brian Porter have had great trips this week with a lot of yellowfin tuna ending up in the fish box.

Captain Chase Eberle and the crew of Chasin Tides Charters has been putting his anglers on the yellowfin as well, and also some sharks, bluefish, flounder and sea bass.
Captain Monty Hawkins of the Morning Star had a “day off” and showed some young anglers a great time.
Took a day off to be with Shelly and her (one day ‘our’) grandkids..
Back to fishing tomorrow (Oh, wait..)
Have a super light rail tomorrow.
If interested below is from my 6/6/25 Fish Report. New one soon!
Cheers!
Monty

These lucky anglers found a couple of keeper flounder fishing on the Tortuga out of Bahia Marina.
