We had a pretty significant winter storm roll through the area today with several inches of snow reported from different areas of the Eastern Shore. Radar shows another shot coming through tonight as the storm moves off the coast, but accumulations aren’t expected to add up much more. Thankfully there was no wind associated with the storm so folks were able to get out on the tog and bluefin again, but there is some wind coming behind it that started this afternoon and will probably close the ocean for a few days.
Captain Chase Eberle of Chasin’ Tides Charters took advantage of today’s calm start and got on both the tuna and the tautog. The bluefin retention limit is down to one fish from 27″ to less than 73″ so after that fish was met with the gaff it was some nice tautog for Chasin’ Tides anglers.
