Had a pretty overcast day in and around Ocean City today, but with little precipitation and decent temps it was ok to get out on the water.
Got the word from Taylor of AlwaysBentFishing that yesterday’s first tuna of the season was caught in the Norfolk Canyon. It was a ride to get to the water, but it paid off with that first fish and a couple of other bites. Hopefully there are more to come soon.
Captain Jason Mumford of Lucky Break said flounder fishing was “meh” today, but there was a decent bluefish bite in the OC inlet. Jason put these kids on some good action on fish between 2-3 pounds.

Big Bird Cropper got in on the bluefish action today as well and he was able to find a little bit bigger class of fish. Bird used the Roy Rig to land his limit of blues catching two of them at the same time.
