It’s gotten pretty windy this evening and tomorrow’s weather doesn’t look to great, but we do have brighter days on the horizon. Today started off great, yet chilly, with sunny skies and light winds, but by 3 this afternoon it was puffing pretty good. Thankfully I was done fishing for flounder in VA!
Bryan Mindte and I headed to Folly’s Creek today in his little boat the Junior Mint and had a great day of flounder fishing. Water wasn’t the cleanest, but we managed four nice keepers from 17″ to 19″ on Deadly Tackle Deadly Doubles. Orange was the hot color, but we also caught on chartreuse and white Deadly Doubles.
Captain Chase Eberle of Chasin Tides Charters had an awesome day on the ocean with tautog up to 19 pounds for his clients.
Seth Price fished his kayak behind Ocean City today and though dealing with the wind was a little tough he still found a nice, big bluefish.
