Traffic on both the street and the water was noticeably less busy today as lots of kids look to head back to school over the next week. The busiest part of fishing tournament season is also in the rear view mirror so we are moving into my favorite time of year. Less traffic and more fish!!
Captain Chase Eberle and his crews on board Chasin’ Tides Charters have had a great week of fishing with wahoo, cobia, flounder, sea bass and more coming over the rail.
Captain Chris Mizurak of the Angler reported good fishing on today’s trip to the bottom fishing grounds with some very nice flounder, some sea bass and a few mahi ending up in the coolers of happy anglers.
Anglers fishing on the party boat Tortuga out of Bahia Marina have had fun this week putting keeper flounder in the net.
Reece Schindler caught a nice limit of flounder at the Route 50 bridge this afternoon on live bunker. The smallest fish was 18″.
