Waylaid Some Jumbos

Waylaid Some Jumbos

Captain Monty Hawkins and the crew of the party boat Morning Star out of the Ocean City Fishing Center had what I will call an incredible day of tautog fishing yesterday.  The report from Captain Monty was simple, “waylaid a few jumbos today” and I would have to say that was right on the money!! Wes Pollitt reported that the action at one spot produced fish of 12, 13, 14, 15, 15, 15, 15.5, 16 and a whopping 19.25 pounds!!!  All of the fish were caught on green crabs on an ocean wreck.
