Merry Christmas everyone! I hope you had a wonderful holiday with friends and family and I hope Santa brought you everything you asked for!
We had some beautiful weather in and around Ocean City today with light winds and warm for December temperatures and it was a great day to get out and do some fishing if you didn’t have to go back to work. I got two reports today and both reported great weather and some nice fish.
There aren’t a ton of rockfish being caught right now, but there are a few stragglers that have been captured as the water continues to cool down. Peter Renzi was fishing with angler Chuck Wenzel today on board the Fish Frenzi when Chuck landed this 35″ keeper rockfish. The guys were trolling white “Mojos” off of Fenwick Is.
Captain Monty Hawkins of the Morning Star was out on the rip today and had the pleasure of fishing some great conditions with the added bonus of fish on the deck.

What a beautiful day we’ve had. No wind over 10 knots. Didn’t even need gloves..
Have a lot of room for tomorrow’s 10 hour sea bass trip. Weather looks just as nice.. Also have openings for our last sea bass trip till May on Sunday.
Had one client limit out today. David Confair of Secretary MD sealed the deal. Other folks were in double digits but couldn’t clear the hurdle.
