Tomorrow marks the start of the 25th edition of The MidAtlantic. This year over 150 boats from Cape May, NJ and Ocean City, MD will by vying for over $3 Million in prize money. Scales action will take place at the Canyon Club Resort and Marina in Cape May, NJ and at Sunset Marina in Ocean City, MD from 5 PM until 9 PM Monday, August 22 through Friday, August 26. Stop by either location if you’d like to see the big fish come to the dock. I’ll be bringing you updates right here each night to let you know who wins the big money. Good luck to all of the anglers fishing in the 25th Anniversary of The MidAtlantic.

My buddy Austin Ensor was out in the deep today taking advantage of the nice sea conditions before tomorrow’s expected blow. Austin and the crew of the Primary Search boxed four yellowfin tuna and released an estimated 150 pound blue marlin.

The Angler with Captain Chris Mizurak had another good day of flounder fishing on the rip today. Captain Chris reported several keeper flounder today, a few sea bass and a cutlass fish.

The Ocean City Guide Service with Captain John Prather had a couple of productive trips today. This morning it was six keeper flounder while fishing some ocean structure and this afternoon it was the back bay for some “croaker madness”.

Captain Marc Spagnola of Dusk to Dawn Bowfishing had a good day of shooting today in the back bay today. Captain Marc put his shooters on some nice southern rays including a big 75 pounder.
