Flounder, Rockfish, Tog, Drum and Snakeheads

Flounder, Rockfish, Tog, Drum and Snakeheads

It was another chilly, windy April day today, but a hooded sweatshirt and some thick skin could help you get through a day of fishing.  We’re still waiting to see some more sunny, warm, calm weather and I’m hopeful that it’s on the way soon enough.

Captain Jason Mumford of Lucky Break dealt with the wind today and put his angler on a couple of nice flounder from behind Assateague Island.

David Moore has had some good fishing over the past couple of days with a 17″ keeper tautog from the bulkhead and some stripers, drum and big bluefish from the Assateague surf.

My buddy ReelJayB had a windy, but productive morning on Assateague Island when he caught a nice rockfish and bluefish from the surf.

Captain Marc Spagnola of Dusk to Dawn Bowfishing is back on the river and last night he had some good shooting with several very nice snakeheads hitting the deck.

Had some fun the other day on the Eastern Shore of Virginia!  Check it out and subscribe!
