It was a beautiful day out there today, and with less traffic on the streets and on the water it was a great day to be out fishing. The water in the back bays has cleaned up some making for good flounder fishing, and the warm water offshore is still around making for some good billfishing too.
The crew of the Spring Mix II with Captain Chris Watkowski at the helm had a great day of offshore trolling with six white marlin releases.

The crew of Wound Tight had a great day of trolling the canyons today as well with a blue marlin release and three out of five white marlin releases.

Captain Jason Mumford of Lucky Break had a nice day of fishing for his groups today. This afternoon it was keeper flounder and sheepshead, and this morning it was the same with a big 10.5 pounder in the mix.

Shawn Flaherty hit the south jetty where he caught his limit of sheepshead and a keeper tautog.
