It poured today in an around Ocean City…..and it’s still raining as I write this at 8:45. There wasn’t too much fishing going on in the bay today due to the rain, but the front that pushed through didn’t reach out into the ocean until this afternoon so there were a couple of boats that set out to catch some fish before the rain started. They were able to catch some fish, but they ran into the rain on the way back and it was just too wet to deal with taking pictures.
Captain Jeremy Blunt on the Wrecker had a fun trip on board today and had a great day in the Baltimore Canyon. Captain Jeremy put his crew on five white marlin releases, a spearfish release and two nice mahi. He was able to get the only photo that I received today of his flags flying high.
Captain Chris Mizurak on board the Angler out of the Talbot Street Pier had a nice day on the water before the rain. Captain Chris reported good flounder and sea bass fishing with the biggest flounder at about four pounds. There were also a couple of four fish flounder limits on board today, but it was just too rainy to get any pics.
White Marlin Open Tent Sale
The White Marlin Open will be having a tent sale on Saturday from 10 AM until 4 PM at the corner of route 611 and Sunset Avenue in West Ocean City. This is a liquidation sale for 2016 tee shirts so if you didn’t get one, or you want to stock up on some other colors, it’s going to be a great time to get one on sale.
