Big Tog, Big Bluefish and A Good Flounder Bite

Big Tog, Big Bluefish and A Good Flounder Bite

It was overcast, chilly and a little windy today, but it wasn’t a terrible day to go fishing…..and starting tomorrow our weather starts to look way up with highs close to 80 with sunny skies.

Captain Jason Mumford of Lucky Break charters had a short trip this morning, but he was able to have a really good catch of flounder for his crew on this morning’s trip.  Captain Jason put his guys on three throwback flounder and these five nice keepers.

Captain Chase Eberle of Chasin’ Tides Charters had a great day of tog fishing for his crew today with some big fish that were released to as big as 14 pounds.

Joe Payne was fishing the Assateague surf when he landed this monster of a “chopper” bluefish.  The big blue was 36″ long.

We’ve got just 12 spots left for our first ever Fish in OC Fishing Trip and Seminar on board the Angler June 1, 2024.  Buy tickets at the link below if you’d like to fish with us!!
