We had some seriously wicked thunderstorms roll through the are today with wind, lightning and very, very heavy rain. I had to drop some Deadly Tackle down at Sea Hawk Sports Center and on the way down I drove through the hardest rain I’ve ever driven through in my life. Some of those storms impacted fishing today for sure, but a couple of boats got out for a bit.
Captain Tony Battista has seen some success for his clients over the past couple of trips, and some of them have come from very far away. Today’s charter was from Connecticut and two charters from the past couple of days have come from Brazil and the Netherlands. All of them had a good time catching fish.
Captain Chase Eberle and the crew of Chasin’ Tides Charters had a couple of productive trips today that included a bluefin tuna, flounder and some rockfish action.
Captain Mark Hoos and the crew of the MARLI had a good day with three bluefin tuna for the fish box. Thanks to Sunset Marina for the pic!
