Today was day two of the Ocean City Marlin Club’s 4th Annual Rockfish Tournament. Yesterday was the first day of fishing for this 9 day event, but there were no fish weighed in. Today was a different story. The fishing limit for this tournament is 100 miles from the Ocean City sea buoy and 3 miles from shore which is the federal fishing limit for striped bass. There are 15 boats fishing the tournament, 11 of which fished today. The largest schools of fish are all well to our north so the boats that did fish made the trip and fished off of spots like Atlantic City and Sea Isle City, NJ. Here’s the leaderboard after two days of fishing.
