There was some heavy cloud cover and some misty rain this evening, but it was nothing that would keep a would-be angler from being on the water. We’re coming up on some of the best fishing of the entire year over the next several weeks….hopefully Mother Nature cooperates through most of it.
Captain Jason Mumford of Lucky Break loves fishing in the fall and over the past two days he’s shown his anglers why. Captain Jason had three very nice keeper sheepshead on yesterday’s trip, and today it was an awesome catch with catch and release rockfish, keeper flounder, keeper tautog and several keeper sheepshead. The two biggest sheep went 12 and 13.5 pounds.
