We had some leftover wind to contend with this morning, but by this afternoon it was absolutely beautiful. Tomorrow’s weather looks fantastic, but don’t you be going fishing unless Mom says it’s ok…..maybe some lucky folks will have Mom go fishing with them. Either way Happy Mother’s Day!!
The striped bass migration is in full swing right now and we are seeing some very nice fish in the Assateauge surf and in the Ocean City Inlet. Captain Jason Mumford of Lucky Break Charters put his mornin group on some big fish releases in the inlet and then treated them to some meat for the cooler with flounder and tautog. This afternoon saw some of the same with some nice bluefish, flounder and tautog going in the box.

Mike Rintz caught some throwback flounder and a couple of keepers up to 21.5″ on Deadly Doubles baited with Gulp.

Benjamin Bosley fished on board the Tortuga out of Bahia Marina today and had a great time catching and releasing some just short flounder on Deadly Doubles.
