Check out our walk through of Atlantic Tackle in West Ocean City!!
Things have certainly quieted down since last week’s 50th White Marlin Open, but there is still some great fishing going on and some more exciting tournaments on the horizon. This weekend is the Poor Girl’s Open and right after that is the MidAtlantic. Both of which I will be emceeing and the Hooked on OC crew will be bringing to you live. Make sure you check our social media for updates as they approach.
There has been some pretty decent flounder fishing on the high tide when back bay waters are the cleanest. The Tortuga fishing out of Bahia Marina has been on them with keeper sized fish over 16″ coming on just about every trip.
The Miss Ocean City fishing out of Shark on the Harbour has been getting in on the flounder action as well with throwbacks on every trip with the occasional nice keeper in the mix.
Kristen and I got out last night for a little bridge fishing where Kristen lucked into this 4-5 pound bluefish on a hard diving crank bait.
The Brannan clan headed out with the Babikow clan and had a good day with the “peanut” mahi. Matthew Brannan enjoyed his first mahi trip ever.
Captain Marc Spagnola of Dusk to Dawn Bowfishing had 9 trips in 3 days which means 2 hours of sleep, but his shooters have no pity as he puts them on huge butterfly rays and cow nosed and southerns from the south bay.
