The rockfish migration that a lot of us have been patiently waiting for is making it’s way closer to Ocean City by the day. The fish have made it close enough that a boat left from Ocean City inlet this morning and was able to catch a limit by early this afternoon.
Captain Wes Pollitt had a break from his regular gig on the Morning Star and ran the Haulin’ N Ballin’ out of The Ocean City Fishing Center for some rockfish trolling today. Captain Wes was joined by Mate Bobby Spivey, Mate Dave Schulte and anglers Ronnie Bitner, Dan Iacangelo, Adam Glushakow and Aaron Jezierski. The crew caught their limit of one rockfish each trolling Stretch 30s.
