With calm seas this expected this weekend most boats have had a chance to get back out there and try their luck at the awesome tuna fishing that was going on before the blow this week.
Anglers on the Marli out of Sunset Marina captured 12 yellowfin and 1 dolphin and released another 8 short yellowfin in the Washington canyon with Captain Mark Hoos and mate Mark Stephens. The seas were calm and the fish were biting….doesn’t get much better than that!
The Boss Hogg, also out of Sunset Marina had a great day of fishing the yellowfin in the Washington. This group of anglers caught 10 and gaffer dolphin.
Captain Dave Black on the My Cin reports shark action from south east of the Fingers. His crew caught 4 blue sharks and 2 makos.
