Well what do you know…it rained again today! I’m not sure how much it’s rained in the past two weeks, but I can tell you that I saw a guy in Ocean Pines loading animals on to a boat two by two. All kidding aside, this weather has been terrible. The wind wasn’t bad today and I saw a few boats out, but not much going on. There are some anglers having luck down on Assateague Island with the rockfish. Peeler crabs, sand fleas and bunker seem to be enticing the most bites.
Speaking of rockfish, I got a submission from Chris Miller reporting some action from over on the Chesapeake Bay out of Solomons Island. Chris and his crew on the Fishizzle caught their limit of nice rockfish from 40″ to 43″ and up to 29 pounds in 58 degree water.
This Sunday, May 15 is the Annual Ocean City Reef Foundation Dinner at the Ocean City Marlin Club from 4 PM – 8 PM.

There will be silent, live and chinese auctions for all sorts of great items. The live auction will take place at 6:30 by local Auctioneer J.L. Cropper. There will be a 50/50 raffle and a basket of cheer winner.
